The tubing is hand laid from three layers of 1 mm twill weave prepreg carbon fiber rated to 240°C and resists yellowing and fading. Tube sizing runs from a 3 in inlet to a 3.5 in outlet with a 2.75 in turbo connection, the washable dry media filter needs no oil, and the system supports up to 600 hp. Installation requires no cutting, trimming or grille removal; vehicles with secondary air injection (SAI) need a separate third-party filter kit.

Specifications

Type

Cold air intake system

Material

Prepreg twill carbon fiber, silicone couplers

Size

3 in inlet, 3.5 in outlet, 2.75 in turbo connection

Filter

Synthetic dry media, washable, no oil

Power Rating

Up to 600 hp

Quantity

1

Part Number

AMS.21.08.0001-1

Documents: Installation Instructions (PDF)

This part fits:

Year

Make

Model

Submodel

2015-2019

Volkswagen

Golf R

Base

https://onefastshop.com/products/ams-performance-carbon-fiber-cold-air-intake-volkswagen-golf-r-mk7-2015-2019
