The 4 in thick bar and plate core measures 28.5 in wide by 10.25 in tall, filling the front bumper opening with 325% more core area than the stock top mount, and its aluminum end tanks are hand TIG welded and pressure tested. The kit adds 2.5 in mandrel bent black powder coated aluminum piping, silicone couplers with recessed joints, an OEM style blow off valve mount, and the AMS bumper support beam with a threaded OEM tow hook point. Slight trimming of the bumper ducting and removal of the factory bumper beam are required.

Specifications

Type

Front mount intercooler kit with bumper beam

Core

Bar and plate, 28.5 in W x 10.25 in H x 4 in thick

End Tanks

Aluminum, hand TIG welded

Piping

2.5 in mandrel bent aluminum, black powder coat

Includes

Intercooler, piping, silicone couplers, OEM style BOV mount, bumper support beam, clamps and hardware

Engine

FA20 2.0L turbo

Part Number

AMS.36.09.0001-5

Documents: Installation Instructions (PDF)

This part fits:

Year

Make

Model

Submodel

2015-2021

Subaru

WRX

Base

2015-2021

Subaru

WRX

Limited

2015-2021

Subaru

WRX

Premium

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0480/2160/2467/files/0c0af895c17be7b1241399170bbcc7a2_cef0384c-0f37-489a-95b8-fb903624544f.jpg?v=1792720288
https://onefastshop.com/products/ams-performance-front-mount-intercooler-kit-with-bumper-beam-subaru-wrx-va-fa20-2015-2021
