ams-performance-top-mount-intercooler-subaru-wrx-vb-2022-2024
AMS Performance Top Mount Intercooler - Subaru WRX (VB) 2022-2024

The AMS Performance top mount intercooler replaces the factory TMIC with a 37-row bar and plate core measuring 21 x 7.5 x 4 in, 71% larger than OEM, with louvered internal and external fins. The cast aluminum end tanks are hand TIG welded in the USA and every unit is pressure tested before it ships. AMS testing shows a 48.6°F drop in charge air temperature, 15% more mass airflow and 12% less pressure drop versus the stock intercooler. It bolts into the factory mounting points with zero cutting, and its charge pipe flange is enlarged 13% while staying compatible with the OEM charge pipe and most OEM-style aftermarket charge pipes.

Specifications

Type

Top mount intercooler (TMIC)

Material

Aluminum bar and plate core, cast aluminum end tanks

Core Size

21 x 7.5 x 4 in, 37 rows

Quantity

1

Part Number

AMS.50.09.0001-1

This part fits:

Year

Make

Model

Submodel

2022-2024

Subaru

WRX

Base
