In axle-back form, the AWE Tuning SwitchPath™ Axle-back Exhaust for the BMW M5 (F90) 4.4T AWD retains the factory mid-section, positioned right at the rear axle. Crafted with a 3” diameter, this exhaust system minimizes rear weight while preserving the factory valve behavior for an optimal driving experience.
The AWE Performance Mid Pipes, available separately, offer a seamless replacement for the factory mid-section with a 3” stainless steel X-pipe, enabling a perfect match with the factory Axle Back or AWE Axle Back to create a full cat-back system. What's more, the Exhaust Suite for the M5 is engineered as a modular configuration, allowing you to customize your setup anytime. Simply select the desired configuration, add it to your cart, and hit the road with a commanding roar.
- All tip options feature AWE's 4" slash-cut design and are adorned with the AWE logo and double-walling for a durable mirror finish even during intense use.
- Individually adjustable tips enable you to set the depth into the bumper according to your preference.
Important fitment notes: Equipping the Performance Mid Pipes or an Axle Back may require cutting. However, the Performance Mid Pipes + Axle Back combination does not necessitate cutting.
