The pre-oiled, 8-inch tall inverted top conical air filter features a 360-degree radial flow design, utilizing five layers of progressively finer mesh cotton media to ensure optimal airflow while maintaining filtration efficiency.
The use of a two-piece, 3-1/2 inch mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube, finished in a wrinkle-black powder coat, facilitates an unrestricted airflow path from the air filter to the throttle body. This design allows for significant improvements in horsepower and torque, enhancing overall performance during acceleration.
Engine heat can hinder performance, which is why a sturdy 18-gauge powder-coated one-piece heat shield is employed. This component effectively blocks performance-robbing heat from the engine, ensuring cooler and denser intake air for improved combustion efficiency.
Designed for easy installation, the system incorporates a 3-angle adaptor that optimizes airflow speed after the air filter, further enhancing throttle response. All necessary clamps, couplings, and hardware are included, enabling a hassle-free installation without the need for cutting or drilling on factory parts.
