The AMS Performance Alpha carbon fiber cold air intake replaces the factory intake pipes with full 3in (76mm) tubes that flow enough air to support over 1000 hp while improving the metering of the factory MAF sensors, for sharper throttle response and turbo efficiency across the rev range. The pipes are hand-laid from three layers of 1mm twill-weave motorsports-grade carbon fiber, rated to 240°C because they sit close to the exhaust manifolds, and save 4 lbs over stock. Reinforced silicone couplers and high-flow dry media filters complete the system, which installs without bumper removal, cutting or trimming. It works with stock turbos or upgrades using a 2-bolt compressor configuration; ECU calibration is required after installation.
