The AMS Performance stock-location intercooler replaces the factory unit with a massive bar-and-plate core measuring 21 by 10.25 by 5.5 inches, roughly 115 percent larger than stock and more than double the volume. That extra capacity drops charge-air temperatures by nearly 45 degrees over stock for more consistent power from the 2.7L and 3.5L EcoBoost. It is a full bolt-in fit that reuses the factory brackets, mounting points, blow-off valve and air ducting with no trimming.
