AMS Performance Intake Duct and Airbox Subaru WRX FA24 2022+ - No Filter or Intake Tube

This part number is the enlarged intake duct and airbox only for the 2022 and newer Subaru WRX with the FA24 engine. It does not contain an air filter, an intake pipe, a MAF housing or couplers. It is the cold-air enclosure that goes around an intake you already own - if you are buying your first intake for the car, this is not the part you want, because on its own it will not let you run the engine.

What it does is feed cold air. The duct pulls air from the front of the car rather than off the hot side of the engine bay, and the airbox surrounds the filter so it keeps drawing that cold air instead of recirculated underhood heat; AMS increases the airbox connection size by 149% over the restrictive factory opening. If you want the intake pipe, billet MAF housing, couplers and dry filter as well, order the complete package under part number AMS.50.08.0002-1 instead. This is a direct fit with no modification, and no ECU tune is required. AMS lists this product as designed for installation on a race-only vehicle and requires an AMS Race Waiver form for emissions-controlled vehicles in the United States.
