The AMS Performance street downpipe pairs heavy-gauge 304 stainless steel with a high-flow GESI catalytic converter rated to over 800 horsepower, built on a newly formulated substrate rather than an off-the-shelf cat. A 4.5in mandrel-bent section with a smooth turbine flange transition steps down to a 3.5in flex section and a 3.15in (80mm) outlet for significantly lower back pressure. O2 sensor bungs are threaded in the OEM locations so no jumpers are needed, and the bolt-on install requires no cutting and works with stock or aftermarket cat-back exhausts. AMS states CARB/EPA compliance testing has not been completed; California sales require an AMS Race Waiver form.
