The AMS Performance universal flex fuel CAN bus box is the electronics core of a DIY flex fuel build. It reads an ethanol content sensor and transmits the value over the factory CAN bus directly to the ECU, and adds up to three 0-5V analog inputs for monitoring. The IP54-rated enclosure resists dust and water, and the harness uses over 8 feet of XLPE TXL SAE J1128 wire in flame-retardant Flexo sleeving. It supports pump gas, E50, E85, E98 or any ethanol blend, but your ECU calibration software must allow configurable CAN datastreams; locked platforms such as the Cobb Accessport will not work. Fuel lines, fittings, brackets, the ethanol content sensor, and calibration software are not included.
