The APR Intercooler System is an OEM-location upgrade for the Q3, Tiguan, and Arteon that dramatically lowers intake air temperature and minimizes heat soak. It uses a bar-and-plate core with staggered, louvered fins and smooth cast end tanks, measuring 24.00 x 16.25 x 2.25 inches for 877.5 in³ of core volume. The larger core delivers a 21 horsepower gain over the factory system, stays effective past 500 horsepower, installs in the factory location with no trimming, and remains fully compatible with the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) system.
