3 bolt vs 2 bolt: This charge pipe is designed for the 3 bolt throttle body flange found on B58 Gen 1 engines. It is not compatible with B58TU engines, which use a 2 bolt throttle body design. The B58TU started rolling out in 2020 for most chassis (with some exceptions like the F22 M240i, which retained B58 Gen 1 through 2021). Verify your engine generation before purchase.
