The B8 5100 ride height adjustable is a 46mm monotube damper built for trucks and SUVs that use a front OE coilover style suspension. Several snap ring grooves are machined into the 2.0 in. body so the spring seat can be relocated upward, raising the front of the truck on the factory springs without spacers. A 46mm digressive piston with self adjusting deflective disc valving keeps damping firm over small inputs while staying compliant on larger ones, and the monotube layout separates oil and gas so the fluid resists foaming under repeated travel. The body is zinc plated, the shaft measures 18mm, and the unit mounts with a stem at the top and a crossbar at the bottom.
