Brembo PRIME Audi A4/A5/A6/A7 Rear Brake Pad Set FMSI D2364 - Ceramic

P85186N is Brembo’s PRIME Ceramic rear pad set for the Audi B9 and C8 cars — A4, A4 allroad, A5, A6, A6 allroad, A7 Sportback and the S4, S5, S6 and S7 derivatives, plus the 2020 Q5 PHEV and 2021 SQ5 Sportback. Four pads are supplied, servicing one complete rear axle, with the caliper guide bolts, fitting accessories and an anti-squeal shim. The “N” suffix is Brembo’s designation for the ceramic friction compound.

P85186N is not simply the ceramic version of P85185 — the application lists differ, and that is the difference that matters. The two are different base part numbers as well as different friction materials. Brembo publishes identical geometry for both (129 x 18 x 59 mm, TRW, WVA 26265/26266, FMSI D2364 9126, rear axle), but P85186N does not cover A8, Q5, Q5 Sportback, Q7, RS5, RS5 Sportback, S8, SQ5, SQ5 Sportback and SQ7, and P85185 does. If the vehicle is on that list, this is the wrong part number. Brembo does not publish why the two split, so go by the fitment table below rather than assuming the pads interchange.
