P85185 is Brembo’s PRIME Low-Met rear pad set for the current Audi B9/C8/D5 range, running in the TRW rear caliper. Four pads are supplied, servicing one complete rear axle, together with the caliper guide bolts, fitting accessories and an anti-squeal shim. No suffix on the part number means low-metallic friction material; Brembo uses an “N” suffix for its ceramic compound.

P85185 and P85186N are not the same pad in two compounds — check the application list before ordering. They are two different base part numbers as well as two different friction materials. Brembo publishes identical geometry for both (129 x 18 x 59 mm, TRW, WVA 26265/26266, FMSI D2364 9126, rear axle), so the real difference is vehicle coverage: P85185 covers A8, Q5, Q5 Sportback, Q7, RS5, RS5 Sportback, S8, SQ5, SQ5 Sportback and SQ7; P85186N does not. Brembo does not publish why the two part numbers split, so treat the application lists as the deciding factor rather than assuming the pads interchange.
