Brembo P09027 is the rear-axle pad set for the Tesla Model 3 and Model Y, supplied as four pads — one full axle, both rear wheels. It is a Brembo PRIME Low-Met pad: the friction mix carries a measured proportion of steel fibre, which raises the compound's heat capacity and keeps the friction coefficient stable when a heavy EV hands the discs a hard stop after long stretches of regenerative braking have left them cold.

This is the part most often confused with its front-axle twin. P09027 is REAR: 133 x 16 x 49 mm, FMSI D2283. The front pad for the same cars is P09028, 132 x 16 x 67 mm, FMSI D2195. The two share a vehicle list but not a caliper, and they are not interchangeable. P09027 carries an acoustic wear indicator — a mechanical squealer clip integrated into the pad that contacts the disc as the friction material runs down. No separate electronic wear sensor is supplied in the box.
