A set of six Carrillo connecting rods for the BMW S58 3.0L twin turbo inline six, 5.945 in center to center. The rods use 3/8 in CARR Pro Series bolts with a recommended stretch of 0.0065 to 0.0075 in, and CARR multiphase bolts can be retorqued an indefinite number of times when installed by the stretch method. Bolts and CP-Carrillo bolt lube come with the set.

Is this one rod or a full set?

  • A full set of six rods for the S58 inline six, with bolts and CP-Carrillo bolt lube.

Can the CARR bolts be reused?

  • Yes. CARR multiphase bolts can be retorqued an indefinite number of times when installed by the stretch method and never overstretched.

How should the rod bolts be tightened?

  • The stretch method is preferred, using a rod bolt stretch gauge and the stretch figure for the bolt code on the Steel Bolt instruction sheet. Torque and angle values apply only when using the CP-Carrillo lube supplied with the rods; with any other lube, use stretch only.

Can I buy a single spare rod later?

  • Spare connecting rods are available and are weight matched to within 1 gram of the original set.

Returns

  • 30 days from delivery to request and ship back a return on new, uninstalled items in original packaging with all hardware.
  • Standard returns: 8% restocking fee on the item price before tax and shipping. Shipping is not refunded in either direction. All waived if the item is defective or we made the error.
  • Fitment guaranteed: select your vehicle above, or confirm fitment with us in writing before you order. If the part shows as a fit and it is wrong, the return is on us, even after installation. Otherwise, installed or used parts cannot be returned.
  • Final sale: special orders, coilovers, electronics, engine internals, turbochargers, superchargers and turbo kits, unless defective or we sent the wrong item.
