The FX350 pairs Clutch Masters Power Plus I Hi-Leverage heavy duty pressure plate with a steel backed segmented Fiber-Tough disc, a combination the manufacturer rates at a 110 percent increase in holding capacity over stock. Hi-Leverage geometry raises clamp load without a matching jump in pedal effort, so the kit stays usable in traffic. Engagement is more abrupt than the FX300 and some chatter is normal. The D suffix on this part number denotes the dampened disc, which uses a heavy duty sprung hub with a Marcel spring wafer to absorb driveline shock. It is built to run against an aftermarket single mass flywheel and will not work with the factory dual mass unit.
