Hi-Leverage geometry raises clamp load without a matching jump in pedal effort, so the kit stays usable in traffic. Engagement is more abrupt than the FX300 and some chatter is normal. The D suffix on this part number denotes the dampened disc, which uses a heavy duty sprung hub with a Marcel spring wafer to absorb driveline shock.
