Clutch Masters part number 16063-HDCL is the FX400 8-puck single-disc kit for the R154-equipped MKIII Supra. Like every FX400, it pairs the Power Plus I hi-leverage heavy-duty pressure plate with a sprung ceramic disc for a 170% increase in holding capacity over stock, rated race/street by Clutch Masters. The sprung hub gives moderate damping in high-torque applications, which Clutch Masters says makes it far more street friendly than a solid or rigid disc.

CL is Clutch Masters' segmented 8-puck ceramic disc, catalogued as FX400 (8-puck) and described by Clutch Masters as a ceramic full face design. It carries a marcel cushion between the disc linings, and that cushion is why Clutch Masters says this disc maintains minimal chatter and is designed for street driven vehicles. The sibling part 16063-HDC6 is the same FX400 system with the 6-puck paddle disc: more aggressive, solid with no marcel, and warned by Clutch Masters for chatter in first and reverse. Same holding capacity class, different manners. No flywheel is included in this kit.
