CP Pistons Bullet Series Forged Piston Set of 8 - Small Block Ford 4.040 Bore (+0.040)

The Bullet Series BF6010-040 is a forged 2618 aluminum piston set for the Small Block Ford, machined to a 4.040 inch bore for a block taken 0.040 inch over standard. Each flat top piston carries three valve reliefs cut 0.280 inch deep for 8.7cc of relief volume, giving 9.9:1 compression against a 60cc chamber, and sits on a 1.090 inch compression height for a 3.400 inch stroke and 5.400 inch rod. CP forges the Bullet Series on the same machines and tooling as its CP-Carrillo branded pistons, adding contact reduction grooves, an accumulator groove and dual forced pin oilers, with each 421 gram piston balanced to within one gram. The set ships complete with a 1.5mm, 1.5mm and 3.0mm ring pack, chromoly wrist pins and wire locks.
