The S55 suffers from heat soak that drops power across consecutive dyno or track pulls; CSF's core is 60% larger than the OEM unit for far greater heat transfer from the turbo charge air. A left/right cross-flow dual-pass core with 2-stage water cooling replaces the OEM single-pass vertical-flow design and pairs with CSF's front-mount heat exchanger to keep intake temps down.
