DBA2716S is DBA's Street Series rotor on the 2716 casting, cut with DBA's patented T2 slot. The T2 pattern is a bi-symmetrical CNC-machined slot that adds exit points for friction dust and gas, which is what keeps the pad bite consistent and the pedal responsive rather than glazed. DBA recommends Street Series for daily drivers, light commercial vehicles and SUVs that want an OE-level replacement built to a higher standard, not a track rotor.

This is the entry point of the two 2716 rotors we stock. DBA42716S is the same 319mm casting in DBA's 4000 Series with the T3 slot: 4000 Series adds high carbon alloyed iron, Thermal Stability Profiling heat treatment and thermographic temperature paint, and the T3 slot adds a third set of slots on top of the T2 pattern. If the truck tows, wheels heavy loads down long grades or sees hard off-road work, the 4000 Series is the one to buy; for street and light duty, this one is the right rotor.
