This DeatschWerks dry break coupling lets an 8AN fuel line be separated and reconnected without draining the system, because both halves shut off as they part. It ships as two pieces that mate into one quick disconnect assembly, and each half terminates in an 8AN male flare so it drops into an existing AN hose run between the tank, filter, or fuel rail. Both halves are machined from heat treated 6061-T6 aluminum and anodized matte black, and the straight body keeps the coupling inline with the hose. The assembly is ethanol compatible for pump gas and E85 fuel systems.
