A formable thermal barrier designed to reflect engine and exhaust heat and protect surrounding components from radiant heat and abrasion. The DEI Adapt-A-Shield XT combines a flexible, cut-to-fit construction with a reflective surface so you can contour the shield around odd shapes, insulate wiring, hoses, and bodywork, and secure it with straps or DEI stainless steel ties for a tidy, professional installation. Ideal where a high-temperature, abrasion-resistant shield is needed but not intended for direct mounting to exhaust tubing.
