DEI Gen III Onyx Flexible Heat Shield - Universal 3.5 x 6.5 in

The Gen III flexible heat shield gives spot heat protection to exhaust pipes and the components and body parts near them, using dual layer high-temperature textile with a radiant heat resistance of 1350°F. Because the body is semi-flexible it can be adjusted across a range of pipe diameters and fits tubing up to 3.5 in., so it works as an OEM shield replacement, over exhaust wrap, or doubled up with an existing metal shield. DEI states it blocks heat more effectively than a stamped metal shield, which makes it a common fix for scorched legs on cruisers and sport bikes. This ONYX Series version is finished in black with a brushed metal trim ring and mounts on a stainless steel standoff bracket, hardware included.
