DEI Glass Fiber Exhaust Wrap - 2 in x 25 ft - Black

This is DEI's black glass fiber exhaust wrap, a 2 in wide by 25 ft roll of vermiculite treated glass fiber rated to 1200 degrees F of direct heat and 2000 degrees F radiant. Wrapping headers and downpipes holds exhaust gas temperature inside the pipe, which lowers gas density and increases flow, and DEI rates the drop in under hood temperature at a realistic 50 percent for a cooler intake charge. Woven guide lines run the length of the roll so overlap stays even without measuring, and the wrap is made in the USA. Do not wrap catalytic converters, flex pipes or titanium exhaust systems, because trapped heat shortens converter life and makes titanium alloy brittle.
