A turbo shield keeps turbine housing heat inside the turbo, which shortens spool time and raises exhaust gas velocity, and at the same time stops that heat from cooking a painted or carbon fiber hood sitting above it. Ultra 47 is built as a tri-layer sandwich: an aluminum impregnated glass fiber outer shell, a high temperature insulating mat core, and a silica glass blend liner, double stitched with smooth capped anchor points. It is rated to 1350°F direct and 1800°F radiant heat. This is the shield only version, supplied with the shield and a 5 ft length of 22 gauge stainless steel fastening wire rather than the full kit, and it is cut for T4 frame turbos measuring roughly 20 in to 22 in in circumference and 2.75 in wide, excluding the flanges. Made in the USA.

Returns

  • 30 days from delivery to request and ship back a return on new, uninstalled items in original packaging with all hardware.
  • Standard returns: 8% restocking fee on the item price before tax and shipping. Shipping is not refunded in either direction. All waived if the item is defective or we made the error.
  • Fitment guaranteed: select your vehicle above, or confirm fitment with us in writing before you order. If the part shows as a fit and it is wrong, the return is on us, even after installation. Otherwise, installed or used parts cannot be returned.
  • Final sale: special orders, coilovers, electronics, engine internals, turbochargers, superchargers and turbo kits, unless defective or we sent the wrong item.
