The DFC 4000 HybriDynamic compound blends friction materials to cover everyday driving, holding a consistent pedal feel and stable friction across a wide temperature range without the price of a premium ceramic pad. It is a 100% copper free and asbestos free formulation that meets the California and Washington 2025 restrictions and runs with low dust and low noise. An underlayer acts as a thermal barrier and promotes friction adhesion to suppress noise, and the pads carry DFC premium rubber-steel-rubber shims, chamfers and slots where applicable, plus a scorched face to shorten break-in. This part ships as a kit with the matching caliper hardware included.
