The DFC Premium Hardware Kit supplies the replacement brake hardware that locates the rear pads and keeps them sliding freely in the caliper, and it is shaped for easy assembly and removal during a pad change. Corrosion resistant and high heat resistant components keep the contact surfaces from seizing, the usual cause of uneven pad wear and brake drag. A low coefficient of friction at the pad abutment points lets the pads release cleanly, and chemical resistant materials stand up to brake fluid and road salt.
