DFC Premium Service brake shoes are built to OE drum dimensions on 100% new carbon steel that is dipped in a high temperature anti-rust black paint. The semi-metallic lining is bonded or riveted to original equipment specification and glue lined so the friction material stays locked to the steel shoe. Each shoe is precision arc ground for full shoe to drum contact, which shortens bed-in and keeps the parking brake adjusting correctly. The set is field and lab tested for reliability in service.
