This drum brake wheel cylinder converts hydraulic line pressure into the outward force that pushes the brake shoes against the drum. It uses a single piston in a 19.05 mm bore and is retained by a tension spring rather than bolts, matching the original small bore rear drum layout. A bleeder screw is included, and every unit is 100% pressure tested for leak free service so it installs with no modification to the original hardware.
