Dinan High Performance Heat Exchanger - BMW F2x/F3x 2016-2021

The Dinan high performance heat exchanger for the B46, B48 and B58 engines in the F2x and F3x chassis replaces the 27mm OEM core with a more robust 48mm core that carries 78% more heat transfer surface area for greater cooling capacity. Its increased thickness required unique L-shaped end tanks, which further raise thermal mass so the unit absorbs and releases heat more effectively than stock. Across 15 successive wide-open-throttle pulls it reduces intake air temperatures by an average of 8 degrees with a maximum reduction of 15 degrees, cutting the tendency to heat soak or drop into limp mode. The core is 100% TIG welded and pressure tested, and installation hardware is included along with xDrive specific transmission oil cooler brackets.
