The Dinan Valved Axle-Back Exhaust upgrades the rear exhaust section of the G8x M3 and M4 with 76mm 100% T304 stainless steel tubing, enlarged from the stock 70mm to cut backpressure and free up flow. It retains the factory computer-controlled exhaust valves, so closed valves route gas through the Dinan muffler and out the inner tips for subdued low-speed cruising, while open valves bypass the muffler under load for a near straight-pipe roar. Drone abatement technologies inside the muffler keep cabin resonance in check, and the complete system runs 6 pounds lighter than stock. Peak gains reach +6 HP and +5 lb-ft, finished with four double-walled 4.5-inch clamp-on tips laser engraved with the Dinan logo.
