do88 builds this MQB radiator entirely from aluminum with uninterrupted welds, replacing a factory unit whose plastic end tanks crack with age and heat cycling. The dual core runs 2 rows at 42 mm thick and carries 12,893 cm³ of core volume against the original 10,100 cm³, a 28% increase, while a triple pass layout routes coolant through the core three times for more heat rejection per circuit. Fin height is 5 mm in a multi-louvered design to keep air side efficiency high. The radiator is dimensioned to the factory opening and mounts in the original location, so it drops in without cutting or fabrication.
