This do88 inlet hose replaces the factory fresh air duct between the airbox and the turbocharger with a moulded silicone part built from three to five reinforcement plies, the count chosen by inner diameter and position. An integrated steel wire spiral keeps the bore open under compressor vacuum, which the original rubber duct loses as it hardens and cracks with age.
