The S58 cools its charge air with a water-to-air intercooler, and this front mounted heat exchanger is where that circuit sheds its heat. do88 replaces the factory unit with a full aluminum radiator using TIG-welded end tanks and CNC-machined ports in place of the original plastic components. The 2-row core is 48 mm thick and 39% larger than stock, adding 9% external tube area, and a quadruple pass layout sends coolant through the core four times rather than the original twice. Fin height rises to 5 mm from 4.4 mm so the engine radiator behind it still receives airflow despite the thicker core, and 1.4 litres of extra coolant capacity gives the circuit more thermal mass against heat soak on track. Custom rock guards are included and the radiator mounts on the factory components.
