The do88 MERA intercooler is a direct OE replacement for the Audi RS6 and RS7 (C8) 4.0 V8 TFSI, engineered for maximum cooling within the factory space. MERA is do88's high-performance cooling line, built around a motorsport-grade Garrett bar-and-plate core with densely packed thin fins. Core volume rises 50 percent over OEM to 10,063 cm3 and active cooling area grows 29 percent to 958 cm2, while the 105mm-tall core flows 422 CFM at 0.125 bar, about 16 percent more than stock. In do88 testing it drops inlet air temperature by 27 degrees C under identical conditions. Vacuum-infused carbon fibre air guides, free-form cast end tanks and premium silicone hoses on the enlarged 70mm connections are included, with all welding done in-house in Sweden.
