do88 Performance Intake Plenum - Porsche 911 Turbo (997.2) 2010-2012

The OEM 997.2 Turbo plenum is T-shaped, so charge air leaving the throttle body changes direction abruptly as it splits to the two intake manifolds. do88 casts a Y-shaped replacement instead, developed through CAD flow simulation and SuperFlow SF-1020 bench testing of 3D printed models, and measured 5.4 percent more flow than the OEM part. It is a 3D freeform casting with CNC machined connections and a smooth internal surface, weighing 0.66 kg (1.46 lb) against 0.27 kg (0.60 lb) for the OEM plastic plenum and 1.13 kg (2.49 lb) for a competing cast plenum.
