do88 replaces the restrictive factory intercooler piping on Volvo's SPA platform with mandrel-bent seamless aluminium pipes in 63mm (2.5 in) and 70mm (2.75 in), sized to mate with the OEM intercooler. On do88's SuperFlow SF-1020 bench the kit flowed 522 CFM at 0.1 bar (1.45 psi) pressure drop against 342 CFM for the OEM pipes, 53 percent more air. The custom silicone hoses carry four layers of polyester/aramid reinforcement so they hold up to raised boost and charge temperatures, and every clamp, Henn connector adapter and fastener needed for the installation is in the box. Kit contents are engine specific; this is the version for non-hybrid petrol cars keeping the OEM intercooler.
