This CNC machined aluminum turbo muffler delete replaces the restrictive silencer cast into the OEM turbo outlet on the EA888 MQB engine. Bore grows from the original 46 mm to 54 mm, a 56 percent larger flow area, and do88 measures 317 CFM at a 75 mbar (1.09 psi) pressure drop against 261 CFM for the original part, 21 percent more flow. The inside is machined to a conical, flow optimized profile and the supplied aramid reinforced silicone hose has a stepped bore that matches the connections either side to reduce turbulence. This version ships with a red hose sized for the do88 TR-340 and TR-440 charge pipe. Installation hardware and instructions are included, and nothing on the car needs to be cut or modified.
