The do88 turbo muffler delete replaces the restrictive OEM turbo outlet muffler on 1.8 and 2.0 TSI MQB engines with a CNC machined aluminium pipe. Its 54mm bore against the OEM 46mm gives 56 percent more flow area, and do88 measured 317 CFM at 75 mbar (1.09 psi) pressure drop where the OEM part flows 261 CFM, 21 percent higher. The inside is machined to a flow optimised conical profile, and the aramid reinforced silicone hose has a stepped inner bore matched to the connection diameters so the transition does not create turbulence. This version ships with the hose sized for do88 TR-340 and TR-440 charge pipes rather than OEM pressure pipes.
