This heavy-duty 3.5 in 6061-T6 aluminum shaft replaces the first two sections of the factory 3-piece driveshaft on the second generation Eclipse GSX and Talon TSi AWD. A custom 7075-T6 aluminum plate converts the CV end to a U-joint style end that bolts to the factory rear section. It weighs about 12 lb against 22 lb for the two stock sections, is rated for 950 HP and includes the plate and all hardware. This version uses a 25-spline yoke for the Shep transfer case upgrade.
