A chemical interlayer bonds the friction material to the backing plate for strength, while deep venting grooves clear dust and improve cooling. The compound is known for strong bite from cold, progressive pedal feel and gentle wear on rotors, and it carries ECE R90 brake safety approval. EBC rates it for close to double the life of previous Bluestuff generations.
