Its friction level sits about 25% below EBC's RP-X, which makes it the better choice for light and medium weight cars, cars running non EBC big brake kits, and vehicles without ABS. Pad life is good and rotor wear is exceptionally low for a race material, and the pedal is progressive with strong modulation rather than the snatchy feel and noise common to race pads. Backing plates are stainless steel, left unpainted to cut heat transfer into the caliper, with NUCAP NRS hook retention and a pre-scorched face for quick bed in.
