EBC Redstuff front brake pads for 2002-2006 Audi A4, A4 Quattro, A6, A6 Quattro and Volkswagen Passat. Redstuff is a ceramic-enhanced aramid fiber street compound with a nominal friction coefficient of about 0.5, giving strong cold bite and a firm pedal that improves as the pads warm. The formula contains zero steel fiber, so it runs roughly 80 percent cleaner than OEM pads and the minimal dust washes off with a sponge and water. Pads are powder-coated red and fitted with OE-style noise-reduction shims for quiet braking, and most Redstuff sets are approved to the ECE R90 brake safety standard. Bed-in can take up to 1000 miles as the pad conforms to the rotor.
