EBC Redstuff is a synthetic fiber ceramic brake compound built for fast street driving on premium sedans and hot hatches. It delivers strong cold bite comparable to OEM pads and keeps improving as temperature rises, with a nominal friction coefficient of 0.5. Dust output drops roughly 60 to 90 percent versus standard pads, and the residue contains no steel fibre so it rinses off with a simple sponge wash. Each pad carries the EBC Brake-In surface coating to speed bed-in, and most Red Ceramic pads meet ECE R90 brake safety regulation.
