EBC Yellowstuff 4000 Series is an aramid fibre compound that bites hard from cold with no warm up lap and keeps building friction as temperature climbs, staying stable to 400 degrees C (750 degrees F), which EBC describes as the normal street maximum. Pads arrive with EBC's red Brake-In surface coating for fast initial bedding, with full bedding taking 300 to 500 miles depending on the condition of the rotors. Backing plates use NUCAP NRS mechanical hook retention rather than adhesive bonding. This rear set measures 122 x 45 x 16 mm and is rated medium for dust, so buyers after a low dust street pad should look at EBC Redstuff instead.
