A 5 inch urethane foam backing plate that threads onto any random orbital with a 5/16 in-24 shaft, including the Griot's Garage G9 and the 6 inch random orbital. Cooling ports pull heat out of the plate for lower operating temperatures and longer pad life. Chamfered edges let the plate flex so pads follow curved and contoured panels.
