Spray-On Wax is a base wax enhancer. Griot's is explicit about the job it does: it extends the life of the natural waxes and paint sealants already on your car rather than replacing them. You use it during drying - spray it onto the panel and wipe it off with the towel you are already using - so a full coat goes on in the time it takes to dry the car.

That makes it the wash-to-wash protection step, distinct from Speed Shine (10950), which is a detailer with no protection claim, and Spray-On Car Wash (10984), which is a waterless wash. It is safe for use on paint protection films, and Griot's positions it as the option for when there is no time for a full wax job. Directions

1. Wash and rinse the vehicle as normal.
2. While towel drying, mist Spray-On Wax onto the still-damp panel.
3. Wipe it off with your drying towel as you go, working panel by panel.
4. Remove any remaining wax residue with a quality microfiber wax removal towel.
5. Repeat after each wash to keep wash-to-wash protection topped up between full wax jobs.
