Hawk part HB180D.560 is an ER-1 motorsports friction compound pad set on the HB180 shape, 0.560 in thick. ER-1 runs from 400 to 1600 degrees F with an optimal window of 700 to 1100 degrees F and delivers consistent medium to high torque, with Hawk placing specific emphasis on modulation, release and pedal communication. Hawk positions the compound for HPDE, track day and time trial use in light to medium weight cars, and also for sprint racing. It is designed for iron and metal rotors and is not compatible with carbon ceramic rotors.
